Sid Kosaraju is the global lead of Accenture Health Management Services. He is responsible for the strategy, thought leadership, growth initiatives, asset development and profit/loss for this Accenture business service.
Sid joined Accenture in 2011, following 16 years as an entrepreneur. After initial experience with APM, Inc. in reengineering underperforming hospitals, he started his entrepreneurial career as an early startup team member at the online pharmacy named PlanetRx. Sid assisted the firm through rapid growth, venture capital financings and an initial stock offering on the NASDAQ stock market. Subsequently, he co-founded a global BPO firm named 24/ 7 Customer. Sid helped lead the firm to attain profitability, 3,000 employees, venture capital financing from Sequoia Capital and prominent mention in Thomas Friedman’s bestselling book titled The World Is Flat. Following a successful 24/7 Customer equity sale in 2004, he advised and invested in growing healthcare services and technology firms including MedPlexus, Inc., which was sold to GE Healthcare in 2010.
Sid’s forecasts and quotes have been presented in publications such as the Wall Street Journal, New York Times and Businessweek, in addition to being broadcast on news channels such as CNBC and CNNfn. He received a bachelors degree cum laude from Harvard and a MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
