Ryan Johnson joined AskMen as Director of Marketing & Business Development in April of 2008. In this role, Ryan chiefly focuses on developing strategies to build the brand, readership and revenue through partnerships, social media and search engine optimization.
Since Ryan came aboard, AskMen has strengthened its leadership position as the largest men’s lifestyle site on the internet, expanding its presence on a variety of social platforms like Foursquare, working closely with a variety of media partners like CNN, Sports Illustrated, and Yahoo, making moves into E-commerce with partners like Group Commerce, and increasing monthly unique visitors by over 100% from 2009 to 2011.
Previously, Ryan was the Director of Strategic Alliances at Monster Worldwide, where he oversaw revenue and marketing partnerships for the world’s largest jobs portal.
Ryan graduated with a B.A. from McGill University and has an MBA from HEC Montreal.
