More information about Michel Murdock

He was born in Chicoutimi a long long time ago into a crazy family of 5 children. Went to school in Québec City, Eastern townships, Vermont and Montréal. Found the love of his life Susan in Calgary during an extended internship with a wedding as a grand finale before returning to Montréal for MBA studies at Concordia.

In 1991 he had the chance to join some incredible people in starting up Hybride Technologies, a VFX house in the Laurentians. From there, things just got better as he and Susan had two incredible children, Rebecca and Craig.

Hybride was acquired in 2008 by Ubisoft and the main team remained on board with the same passion and dedication to their feature film market but adding the challenge of video game related projects.

Michel remains a great admirer of any type of entrepreneurship and loves the ecosystem concept put in place by FounderFuel and hopes he can be part of the journey.
