John Elton is a Partner at iNovia Capital. He focuses on digital media investments in the US and Canada. John currently serves or is an observer on the board of directors of Babble, Chango, Collective, OggiFinogi, Resonate Networks, Urgent Career and Vizu. John brings his past experience as an operator, advisor, and investor to his approach of helping entrepreneurs build successful companies in the digital media sector. While at Turnstone Capital, John advised dMarc Broadcasting on its first round of institutional financing as well as an acquisition prior to its sale to Google (acquired for up to $1.2B.) Prior to this, John co-managed a venture capital fund for Gulf International Bank, which invested in eMotion (acquired by Corbis), DigiMine (now Audience Sciences), and Anystream (now Grab Networks.) In addition, John worked in strategic planning for 24/7 Media, a global digital marketing company, providing online advertising and search engine marketing.
