John Elton is a Partner at iNovia Capital. He focuses on digital media and software investments primarily in the US and Canada. John currently serves or is an observer on the board of directors of Chango, Collective, Lenddo, Resonate, Tagman, and Triple Lift. John is also the lead in iNovia’s investment in Beyond the Rack. John also led the firm’s investments in Babble, OggiFinogi and Vizu that have all been acquired.
John brings his past experience as an operator, advisor, and investor to his approach of helping entrepreneurs build successful companies. While at Turnstone Capital, John advised dMarc Broadcasting on its first round of institutional financing as well as an acquisition prior to its sale to Google. Prior to this, John co-managed a venture capital fund for Gulf International Bank. In addition, John worked in strategic planning for 24/7 Media, a global digital marketing company, providing online advertising and search engine marketing. John started his career at Veronis Suhler Stevenson a merchant banking firm focused on the media and communications industries.
John received an M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from New York University and a B.A. Degree in Economics from Lehigh University.
