A New Yorker, serial entrepreneur who started 5 companies, he studied at Johns Hopkins and Manhattan College, worked on Wall Street before starting Proginet Corp. Proginet’s first product, XCOM, spanned 26 operating systems, and was the 1st major heterogeneous systems management system, later purchased by a CA. After selling XCOM, he secured investments from Microsoft and Novell and took the company public. In 1999 he started Election.com, raising over $26MM from angels, and securing strategic investments from Verisign and Accenture, & ran the world’s only major election done on the internet, the Arizona Democratic Primary, in which voter turnout increased 550% from the previous primary. In 2001, he started ParishPay, which automated the collection of money for much of the Catholic Church in the United States, by replacing envelopes placed in baskets with credit card and ACH debits. In 2003, he founded SprialFrog, and secured a breakthrough license with Universal Music.
