More information about Garner Bornstein
Garner Bornstein is a serial entrepreneur with a track record of creating successful companies in the world of disruptive technologies. He founded his first company, Generation Net, an Internet Service Provider, in 1994, long before the Internet was a household word and, after having built it in to a leading Internet access and web development company, sold it in 1999 to a publicly traded company. As part of the acquisition, Garner was asked to take on the role of CEO of the parent company and oversaw its evolution to a world class web services firm and more than 500% growth in shareholder value before selling. Shortly thereafter, Garner moved on to found his next venture, Airborne Mobile. Airborne was sold to Cybird Co. Ltd. of Japan, for $110 million in July of 2005. In June, 2008, Garner and other members of the management team re-purchased Airborne from Cybird before selling it again two years later.
