Daniel is a co-founder of Ajah, a Big Data play providing services to the non-profit sector. He is a founding partner at Montreal Start Up, a seed investor that provides funding and support to innovative Montreal tech start-ups. He also works with Anges Quebec, the province’s largest angel investor group. Daniel was instrumental in establishing île sans fil, one of the most successful community wireless groups and served as its president. A telecom engineer by training, Daniel has worked on advanced optical and wireless communication systems, designed and delivered global data networks and spent several years providing consulting and training services to operators, regulators and large corporations across North America, Africa and the Middle East. He is frequently invited to speak on the topics of entrepreneurship and start-up fundraising. Daniel has degrees in Economics and Electrical Engineering, both from McGill University in Montreal.
