Conrad has spent the last fifteen years developing a background in licensing, patent prosecution, business development and software engineering. He is a licensed lawyer with the Ontario Bar and currently works for Research In Motion in the Strategic Alliances department. This department is responsible for Mergers & Acquisitions, Licensing, and Investment on behalf of the RIM platform.
Conrad has an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo. He worked for 5+ years in the Media and Developer Tooling sectors before returning to Osgoode Hall for his law degree. As a result of his background Conrad has a tendency to focus on issues related to programming tools, HTML5, and home media convergence.
Outside of work Conrad enjoys climbing, snowboarding and mountain biking. He unfortunately lives in Ontario where there are no mountains.
