Chafye has over 22 years of software and product development, technology and general management experience. Prior to joining Haivision, Chafye served as COO at A2M where he was instrumental in developing the strategic plans to successfully build A2M into one of the largest independent studio game developers in the world. During his stay at A2M, Chafye oversaw the growth of the company from 118 to almost 500 people in the span of four years culminating with the company being ranked as one of the 50 fastest growth companies in Canada. Prior to A2M, Chafye was part of the Discreet Logic leadership team and played a key role in many M&A activities including the sale of Discreet to Autodesk. In addition, he oversaw the development of infrastructure products and the next generation product initiatives. Chafye holds a Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering from Concordia University and a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from McGill University in Montreal.
